Update of the Mercado Pago Plugin for Shopify

When trying to set up the Mercado Pago plugin on the Shopify platform in recent weeks, you may have encountered a warning message stating that the legacy version of the plugin is incompatible with the page checkout and that updates will not be possible until the payment provider is uninstalled.



Don't worry! We understand that this message may cause confusion in your integration journey, and therefore, we want to clarify that it does not apply to the Brazilian scenario.

This message occurs due to the release of a new plugin update in other Latin American countries. The platform detects incompatibilities between the different versions of the plugin and, therefore, suggests the update for Brazilian integrations.
